Can’t see a friend’s profile on favourites or their messages.

Hello, I’ve been having trouble seeing a friend’s profile on my favourites, I’ve added it to favourites it I can’t see it on the my favourites bit, but I also sent them a message on here recently but I can’t see it on my inbox. I’m really confused and don’t know why, I don’t know if it’s a bug or something but is there any way can this be fixed? Thank you.
