Why Adidas Full Body Suits???

Hey, can anyone explain to me for what sports or for what activities and purposes Adidas makes their full body spandex suits? I mean the ones with long legs and sleeves one piece with zipper for entry (not speed skating which has a hood, not luge or nordic skiing one piece suits). The lower torso ends in a dip-down rounded piece that covers the groin, so the sewing gives a nice outline and accentuates the package (unlike cycling shorts) like how some wrestling suits are cut and sewn too. They arent for sale where I live. What do I google on Ebay for to look for them? Are they still made any more??? Thanks.

you have to search 'Adidas Equipment Suit'. I think they were designed for swimming, but since swim suits got banned at Olympic level in 2010 Adidas presumably stopped producing these.

thanks, these are great. yeah, before fast skins were banned by FINA, the full body suits were supposed to be faster than speedo briefs. There are also one piece spandex for skin diving / scuba in warmer waters, that aren’t catsuits or dance unitards. But I really like the Adidas design with the dip-down front groin sewing detail :-). I guess only used ones now, like Speedo’s old, discontinued lined swim thong.
