any alternatives to Skype?

i'm sick and tired of bad quality and the idea that everybody who wants can look at our vid chats, anybody for any alternatives? experiences? ICQ or ooVoo or whatever else is there ??

I agree, fed up with Skype. I found Tox.chat a peer to peer but sadly open source and buggy so more frustration, experimenting with DISCORD for the moment.
